At Wine Circle, we are passionate about respecting the planet and living mindfully of our environmental footprint. We operate out of the belief that "we do not inherit the Earth from our ancestors, we borrow it from our children" (Ralph Waldo Emerson). 

 

One way we show our appreciation to our planet is through a commitment to sustainable winemaking practices. By selecting producers who respect and take great care of the land on which they grow their grapes, we hope to improve the well-being of the vineyards and, ultimately, the quality of the wines.

 

The vine is one element of its ecosystem, and we believe it is equally crucial to consider the protection and prosperity of the surrounding life and environment. The winemakers we work with do not use pesticides or insecticides, and many of our wines are organically certified or grown according to the French standards of reasoned agriculture.

 

We hope that through these conscious decisions, we will not only preserve the Earth as it is but simultaneously enhance its future.
